What is going on at the House and Senate?
OMG, the Stimulus Bill or is it really a Spending Package? Why should you be INFURIATED about this Bill passing and what was put in there last minute that should have NOTHING to do with a stimulus package. and was mention by Gaither in his book written in 2007 on how he plans to sneak his healthcare reform in a BUDGET Bill that would have nothing to do with a Healthcare Reform. (pg 196 of Gaither's Book)
The Healthcare Portion of this Bill requires Healthcare legislation, not in a"Stimulus" (Spending) Bill, especially because it is one half of one percent of the Stimulus (Spending) Package.
Most of this money will NOT be available for 2-4 years, but yet the president and many congress members say it's imperative that we DON'T delay to push it through NOW. I can see through many of these "Act now or else" threats, this technique is a common sales tactic used to try to close a sale if the "client" is starting to think about it (e.g. "oh this widget goes off sale tomorrow...")
If you are not mad about this SPENDING bill, you need to read more on this so-called Stimulus Package.
